NetLinkz4U is now a freeware only site

NetLinkz4U has now changed to a freeware only site.

After a number of years as a shareware & freeware site, we feel the site isn't moving in the direction we hoped for.   Unfortunately, the amount of spam submissions and misleading affiliate links has also contributed to our decision.

As you will be aware, download sites like ours very much depend on things like commission or advertising and it was becoming more common for us to lose out as more people submitted software with their own affiliate links included, meaning those submitters would receive commission on any purchases made through our site.

Running a site which was as busy as ours took a great deal of time - something which we just could no longer justify given the zero income we were making.   Other websites which use misleading techniques and trickery to have people pay for software or click their advertisements seem to doing much better than ours therefore we have adjusted the site to accept freeware submissions only.

One of the main purposes to this is so we can find fresh content for our sister site at www.freewarebb.com as this site does not currently accept PAD submissions.   All freeware submitted to NetLinkz4U will be considered and if approved will also be considered for inclusion to FreewareBB.

If you previously had software listed on NetLinkz4U, please consider resubmitting it although please do remember we only accept freeware now :)
